The NFT market isn’t doing well, which is true. But also, maybe it isn’t.
Earlier this week, a rare CryptoPunk NFT sold for 1,155 ETH, which was worth $1.5 million when the sale took place.
The CryptoPunk in question, number #4156 is quite rare because it’s one of only 24 inspired by apes.
Reminder, there are 10,000 CryptoPunks in circulation.
So yeah, the crypto market is struggling at the minute, and the NFT market is in even worse condition.
And yet, somebody just spent an amount of money that would be enough to buy a mansion or three or four Lambos on a picture of an Ape.
