Google’s boss Sundar Pichai said the company wants to invest a fortune in AI this year.
According to Pichai, Alphabet, which is Google’s parent company, will spend at least $75 billion in AI-related projects in 2025.
This is more than twice as much as they spent in 2023, when Google ‘only’ invested $32.3 billion on AI.
It’s clearly money well spent, though.
Last year, Google’s revenue shot up by 12 percent, around +$96.5 billion, and that was mostly due to AI.
