Coinbase has launched a new learn&earn quest for a new token/blockchain Aleo (ALEO).
As ever, there are multiple tasks, and you can earn $18 in total.
There are 10 lessons/quests in total, seven lessons, as in you just to have answers questions and do quizzes and earn $7, and three quests, for the remaining $11.
After the first four lesson, you’ll be able to download the Leo wallet.
After that, and after setting up the wallet, you’ll be able to stake 1 ALEO, which will earn you an additional $5.
Then you’ve got more lessons, one about ALEO’s tokenomics, one for what is ALEO.
Then there’s one for the Aleo ecosystem, which includes 330+ projects, 237 total grant submissions, 167 percent developer growth over the last two years.
It also includes Leo wallet, which comes with a built-in ‘zero-knowledge’ browser and Puzzle wallet, a mobile and extension wallet where you can also play zkGames.

It also includes Arcane Finance, a non-custodial Dex, zPass, a new zero-knowledge system to upload and verify documents without actually sharing them, Staking.xyz, a staking portal, and Verulink, a gateway where you can bridge USDC and yield on Aleo, it also supports USDT and ETH.
Then there’s another quest to claim USDC via Aleo’s Verulink Bridge platform. This actually gave me both both $5 in USDC and $1 in Aleo.
All in all, I was left with +$18 in total after spending between $2 and $3 in various fees for these tasks.
I should also point out that, as acknowledged by Coinbase themselves on their subreddit, there are current issues with Leo Wallet.
So, for now at least, I only have access to $12 in Coinbase plus around $2 in the wallet, this is because the USDC and pALEO (staked Aleo), which are also in the wallet, cannot be converted into Aleo to withdraw for the time being.
