Apple is finally giving us a date for this year’s iPhone launch event.
The event, dubbed ‘Glowtime’, will be held at Apple Park in Cupertino, California at 10 AM PT time (so that’s 6 PM UK) on September 9.
Apple is set to unveil the new iPhone 16, new AirPods, Apple Watch, and the company should also gives us a date for the iOS 18 and MacOS Sequoia updates.

As for iPhone 16, it’ll have the new Capture Button, which is essentially an all-in-one button to open the camera and shoot films and take photos, and iPhone 16 Pro will have a bigger screen.
The ‘regular’ one will have a 6.3-inch screen, while the Pro Max will have a 6.9-inch screen. In both cases, that’s 0.2 inches more than before.
AirPods. Well, people are expecting AirPods Max 2 but honestly that sounds more like wishful thinking, but we should get an update on the new AirPods 4, which will replace the AirPods 3.
The event will be livestreamed on Apple’s YouTube channel.
