As it turns out, I’m becoming a bit of an audiophile.
I recently bought a new pair of headphones and borrowed another pair for a review.
This is the iFi GO Bar Kensei, and it is a DAC, which stands for digital-to-analogue converter.
Put simply, it converts digital music into analogue music, which means the sound quality is, if not better, different, like the difference between a vinyl or a musicassette versus your Amazon Music, or Apple Music or Spotify, or whatever else you use.
It is also a wired product, not a Bluetooth product, because iFi prioritises sound quality, and Bluetooth compresses that.
It sounds amazing, so there must be a catch, and there is. It’s the price.
It costs $449 in the US or £449 in the UK.
