In a rather random interview with Tucker Carlson, Telegram founder Pavel Durov spoke, among other things, about Bitcoin.
Durov, born in Russia but a resident (and citizen) of the UAE, said his primary concern is freedom.
This is how he runs crypto-friendly social messaging app Telegram (which also supports Toncoin), and this is also why he holds Bitcoin.
Durov, who has a net worth of around $15.5 billion, per Forbes, said he’s had a “few hundred million dollars” in Bitcoin and other crypto for at least 10 years.
Well, good for him.
