If you hold Bonk, you may have received this airdrop and may not even know about it

You may have a bit of cash available and not even know it.

Earlier today I logged in to my Solflare wallet and noticed that the total balance was more than the total sum of my assets.

So I checked my transaction history and noticed an airdrop I totally missed back in May.

The airdrop in question is for Bern (BonkEarn) and it’s directly tied to the amount of Bonk you held back in May. So if you held any amount of Bonk back in May, you may be eligible.

Unfortunately (and oddly), Solflare does not support Bern so the only way for you to transact is to connect your Solflare (or any other Solana wallet you use) to Jupiter, a decentralised exchange, at which point your Bern, if available, will appear.

There’s some bad news, too. For reasons that are unclear to me, the swapping fee was outrageous. I still went ahead with it because it’s literally free money, but still.

As ever, I kept a nominal amount of Bern (around 700 tokens, I think), just in case it moons, and swapped the rest for Doggo (which is another airdrop, by the way, this one was deposited automatically).

I kept a few billion Doggo (worth maybe $20), again just in case it moons, and swapped the rest.

This is why I love crypto. I now have enough to pay for today’s, tomorrow’s and the day after tomorrow’s meals by doing nothing. Which is nice.
