Switzerland is divided into Cantons, each one of them is independent and on top of that, certain cities retain a further level of independence regardless of their Canton.
That’s the case with Lugano, the main city in the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland, which is at the forefront of crypto adoption.
The Swiss town teamed up with Polygon Labs, ie the company behind Polygon (MATIC), and MATIC is now integrated into the app that anybody in the city can use to pay for stuff.
It’s called MyLugano.
The app is basically a do-everything, buy-anything superapp that Lugano residents can use.
You can get anything from there.
You can book for stuff, pay for stuff, etc. And now it integrates Polygon.
