You may have missed the news because some of us were asleep when it happened but last night, Argentina elected a new president.
His name is Javier Milei and he’s been described by mainstream media as a ‘far-right populist’, some of them did use the term libertarian.
You already know the drill.
But we don’t care about that, what we do care about is that Milei is a proponent of Bitcoin and crypto.
For a number of reasons, Argentina’s economy appears to be in a permanent state of tumult.
El Salvador’s Bitcoin experiment is bringing mixed result but A, there’s no doubt in my mind that it will pay off big time in the future and B, it brought a lot of publicity.
Is Argentina going to be the next country to adopt crypto? We’ll see.
