In yet another keynote speech, Bitcoin ultra-mega-super maximalist Michael Saylor said something interesting.
He began by saying some of the things we heard many times about BTC.
He then identified five tiers of Bitcoin investors, although one might argue the first two tiers are not investors at all, ranging from the Bitcoin Denier to the Bitcoin Maximalist.
When he got to the Maximalist, he said something that’s a bit different to what he said before.
He said it’s perfectly okay for a Bitcoin Maximalist to own real estate, commodities, stock and so on, but, and this is the key thing, “everything else is mercenary investment, Bitcoin is a mission”.
That’s an interesting and captivating, albeit a bit dramatic, take on Bitcoin.
