I regularly check X for updates.
I see a lot of content I’m not interested in, a lot of content I wish I didn’t see, and a lot of content I find useful.
It’s always interesting to see what’s trending, and a few minutes ago, #hamster was trending.
I immediately assumed it had to do with Hamster Kombat, Telegram’s record-breaking game, and I was right.
Apparently, the reason why it was trending is that season 1 is over, and season 2 is about to commence.
I should state from the outset that I’m not playing, and I haven’t played, but I am taking part in the airdrop via Binance Launchpool.
But I digress.
Apparently, it’s trending because people got a preview of how many HMSTR token they’re getting. Some were happy, and shared it to X. Others were unhappy, and also shared it to X.
Some noted that several people were apparently caught cheating, which was also something else they shared on X.
