Hawk Tuah girl, which I’ve just discovered is actually called Haliey Welch and not Hailey Welch, is apparently a crypto girl.
She’s probably doing it for the clout and to help build a career out of her 15 minutes of fame, but it doesn’t matter because it doesn’t change the end result.
Welch attended the Bitcoin 2024 Nashville (apparently that’s where she’s from) Conference, and she took a picture next to the ‘Free Ross Ulbricht’ poster.
I should also point out that videos filmed at the conference and the picture were posted to a new verified X profile with the blue checkmark.
Now, because of the way X handles checkmarks these days you never know whether a verified profile actually represents the person it portraits but, again, besides the point.
As a crypto person, I want as many people as possible to get into crypto.
Because the way I see it, they’ll be walking into a world where you and I, reading this, have inhabited for longer.
And the more, the merrier.
