Surprising, but not really.


A list of Joe Biden’s and Donald Trump’s top donors for the 2020 election is going viral.


Not including donations from entities directly affiliated with the governments, for example the US Army or the US Navy, or indirectly, such as associations for Army veterans, these are the top donors.


Donald Trump


Donald Trump received donations from the US Postal Service, US Defense Department, US Army, US Department of Veterans Affairs, UPS, The Villages (census-designated community in Florida), US Air Force, and the following companies:

Financial institutions

  • Berkshire Hathaway – $113,600

Aerospace and manufacturing

  • American Airlines Group – $196,586
  • Delta Airlines – $156,287
  • Boeing – $155,559

  • United Airlines – $118,198

Joe Biden received donations from a very long list of universities, including University of California, Harvard and Stanford. He also received donations from the City of New York, State of California and Democracy Engine. In addition, he received donations from the following companies:
