A few days ago I took delivery of my new Android phone, a Nothing Phone 2a, and I’m quite frankly besotted.
Also, as a crypto guy, I’m aware that some things work better on Android than iPhone.
For example an app I use daily, Nodle, is useless on iPhone. I don’t know why. But it is excellent with Android. And it is now ‘excellentER’ (not a word, I know) on the Nothing.
Nodle Network is a decentralised network that allows you to become a ‘node’, participate in the network and earn NODL, which runs on Polkadot’s 11th parachain.
When I tried this on the iPhone, I would earn maybe 1 NODL a week.
With the old Android, I’d maybe earn 5-6 NODL per day.
Now with Nothing, it’s about 12-13 NODL per day.
Earning NODL is one of many crypto things I do daily, and 12-13 NODL per day means more beer money for me.
The Nothing Phone will not exactly repay itself that way but still, it’s beer money. And I never say no to that.
