Insider trading is real – but they’re simply getting away with it

How convenient.

You may have heard of what’s going on at Boeing. I don’t want to get into that too much but I need some context so I’ll briefly summarise.

In short, a while back, after months filled with ‘unexplained’ incidents involving Boeing aircraft, a former Boeing employee turned whistleblower came forward, and was going to testify in court to nail Boeing execs.

A few days ago, after more months filled with yet more ‘inexplicable’ incidents due to ‘faulty equipment’, all involving Boeing aircraft, the whistleblower reportedly killed himself.

The reason I’m telling you this is several members of congress SOLD Boeing stock ahead of the Department of Justice (DOJ) investigation.

I’m not gonna name names, but the information is public, so you can go ahead and google ‘Rep. W. K. selling Boeing stock on Feb 28’.

You’ll discover that W.K. and other congresspeople sold Boeing stock on February 28, 2024, exactly one day, ONE DAY, ahead of the DOJ investigation.

Boeing is a glaring example because the company is making headlines now, but this happened before. Many, many, many, many – I could keep going – times before.

Congresspeople do this all the time, including of course the most popular insider trader on the planet, again you know who she is, she has a net worth well in excess of $120 million, despite earning a yearly salary of $223,500.

She must be one hell of a trader, right?

She and other congresspeople bought relevant stocks (Zoom, for example) just a few days before the pandemic lockdown was announced. They bought big pharma stock before the vaccine was announced.

They bought NVIDIA before the AI announcement. I could go on.

The thing is, even though they’re clearly engaging in insider trading, it is nigh on impossible to prove it.

Because how are you going to make sure they follow the rules if they’re the ones who make them?

Who controls the controllers? This is the key question, and we don’t really have an answer, do we?
