The latest crypto blunders are further proof that legacy media are done

Jeeeez.

Everyone’s talking about Bitcoin because the price is going up, we’ve seen this movie before by the way, including people who know nothing about it.

Including legacy media outlets that are competing with one another to see who’s biggest idi*t.

An Italian media outlet mentioned that the Bitcoin halving is coming, except they spelt it wrong. Extremely wrong.

They called it the ‘ALVIN’.

It’s amazing that they could get it so wrong, truly amazing.

And I’m ready to accept that the person who wrote this article doesn’t know anything about Bitcoin.

And I’m also ready to accept they don’t care enough to know.

And I’m also more than aware that Italians don’t really speak English.

BUT, I would’ve expected this idi*t to at least double check. But they didn’t. And they article was proofread by somebody, and green lighted, and published.

And yet, a French news outlet called BFM managed to do even better. Or worse, depending on how you read it.

“On April 19, the price of Bitcoin will half. Like a Black Friday to stimulate demand,” the news outlet said.

They’re done. They’re so done they don’t even realise this is happening.

It’s infuriating, but also quite funny.
