Solana wallet flips Coinbase amid concern over repeated network outage

It’s the 11th outage in two years.

Phantom, one of the most popular Solana wallets, has just flipped Coinbase for daily uploads on the App Store.

It sounds crazy but it’s true.

Over the past 24-odd hours, more Apple users have downloaded Phantom wallets than Coinbase.

This, along with the fact that SOL price has steadily remained above $90, is especially reassuring considering Solana has experienced its 11th network outage.

That’s a lot.

This is especially concerning when you consider that the Bitcoin network, which is course much older than Solana, has only gone down twice, once in 2010 and again in 2013.

Of course some might say this isn’t an apples to apples comparison, and they’d be right, but still.

It is further proof that Solana has an extremely strong momentum that even outages can’t kill.

Just yesterday, we found out that Solana Labs already amassed 60,000 pre-orders for Solana Chapter Two.
