I haven’t been particularly lucky with airdrops.
I tried a million times and wasn’t eligible. I did the SEI airdrop via Coingecko and got like 5 cents. Then I missed out on a couple of airdrops including Pyth and TIA which, in theory, I should’ve been eligible to.
I do have some Bonk, but only because I bought it a long time ago and held it for a very long time, which gave me access to BERN (BonkEarn).
However, today, I successfully claimed by first ‘proper’ airdrop.
After all the drama and hype about WEN on the Solana network I was like, whatever, let’s give it a go.
So I opened my Solflare, connected to the Jupiter Aggregator and searched for WEN, hit ‘claim’, and received the allocation everyone’s receiving, 643,652 WEN, equivalent to about $60 at the time I claimed the airdrop.
Also, and we cannot stress this enough, absolutely ignore any NFTs you may receive and don’t look for ‘WEN’ on Google because those are scams. The only safe way to do it is by linking to the Jupiter Aggregator (Jup.ag on Solflare, presuming it’s the same on any other Solana wallet).
As per usual, I cashed out by converting around half of that to USDC and kept the rest. Worst case scenario, it goes to zero but I still had $30+ for free, free beer. Best case scenario, WEN keeps climbing and I’ll cash out some more.
