A fool and his money…

I’m sorry, how can anybody fall for this?

I’m sorry, I know we should always sympathise with the scammed and blame the scammer, and I do.

But, at the same time, I’m beginning to be a little annoyed by the sheer number of people who fall for the airdropped NFT scam.

I’m part of a few Facebook groups for crypto and Sol, as you can imagine, is one of the most active.

On average, I read at least four or five messages a day of people asking what they should with airdropped NFT promising free crypto.

I’m sorry if I come across as a bit insensitive but honestly, really?

Do they have to ask? Isn’t obvious? And I guess I should be happy they’re at least asking. At least there’s doubt in their mind.

I can’t help but think of all the people that fall for it.

I’m sorry. But not every scam is the same.

If somebody lost money on Luna or FTX, I put 100 percent of the blame on Do Kwon and Bankman-Fried, because they’re filthy scammers.

But if somebody lost money on that idiotic project that was OneCoin? Honestly, how could anybody believe that was anything but scam.

And don’t get me started on Logan Paul. Paul has a long track record of scammy crypto projects, how can anybody invest in a project launched by a YouTuber?

And it’s the same with these airdrops. There’s no such thing as a free meal. How can anybody believe that an airdropped NFT promising USDC $1,000 for free is anything but scam?

I can’t help but think of all the people that fall for it. Occasionally, in the same group, there’s people who say they’ve lost everything on this scam.

I don’t get it.
