Apologies for the truncated and slightly clickbait-y headline but this was a bit weird.
Earlier today, a Binance user sent 26.916 BTC to one of Satoshi’s addresses, the one that contains the unspendable 50 BTC as part of Bitcoin’s genesis block.
I’m not sure what it means.
As everyone knows, Satoshi has not touched its Bitcoin stack in over a decade.
And the Binance-related BTC address that sent the funds is now nearly empty.
This was a strange transaction, what do you make of that?
