As part of my new year resolution, I want to get my teeth fixed (aftermath of a bad accident I had a while back), an expensive watch (I have a very specific model in mind, and it’s not a Rolex), more BTC.
I also want to travel first class on a plane for the first time.
I’ve boarded perhaps 200 planes so far, most of which were Ryanair, most of which were within the European continent.
I’ve never flown first class. In fact, I’ve never even flown business class.
Obviously I don’t have that much money to splash on that so I gotta think strategistically.
I think the best solution is to select a return flight on a trans-continental route.
I have a big trip in mind, with a potential four destinations in mind, all four are in Asia.
Why a return flight? Simple. If for whatever reason I only have an option to maximise comfort for one leg of the journey rather than both, I always go for the return leg.
This is because, on your way there, you’re excited and looking forward to the trip.
On your way back, you’re impatient and possibly sad the trip is over.
So it makes sense to do that. In my mind at least.
I’ll keep you posted.
