As of today, the Binance VISA card is just a piece of plastic.
We knew, because Binance had warned us.
There are two reasons why this is bad news to a lot of people.
First, Binance is by far the world’s largest crypto exchange, so the fact that it no longer has a card is a huge blow.
Also, the Binance card offered decent cashback, although this depended entirely on the amount of BNB you’ve got.
At least in the EU.
On a personal note, there’s no skin off my nose.
While I do have a Binance card, I’ve hardly ever used it. I generally use my Wirex card because it offers a 0.5% cashback on everything, no questions asked, and more importantly, it does NOT require staking.
Which is my main concern. I don’t mind staking, but I don’t like crypto exchange-related tokens or coins and, put simply, I don’t want them.
But that’s just my opinion.
What about you? What card(s) do you use daily?
I’ve replaced by Binance card with a Bybit card, I’ll start using it and see how I like it.
