Revolut was one of the first companies to offer an easy to way to buy ‘collections’ of crypto.
It’s pretty straightforward. You pick a ‘group’ of cryptocurrencies, and invest any amount you want, which is split equally across cryptos of the same type.
At the time of writing, Revolut has 10 ‘collections’.
- DeFi – Asset backed (PERP, SNX, UMA) and DEX (1INCH, BAL, BNT, CLV, CRV, IDEX, KNC, LRC, SUSHI, UNI, ZRX, FIDA, HFT)
- NFT/Entertainment – Gaming/VR (AXS, ENJ, JASMY, MANA, SAND, GODS, AGLD) and NFT/Social (APE, CHZ, IMX, OGN, LPT, SUPER, RARE)
- Networks – Layer 1 (ADA, ALGO, ATOM, AVAX, BTC, CELO, COTI, CRO, DOT, EOS, ETC, ETH, FLOW, LTC, SOL, XLM, APT, XTZ, FTM, KAVA) and Layer 2/Sidechain (CTSI, LRC, MATIC, OMG, SKL, SYN)
- Payments/Currencies – Payments (ACH, AMP, APE, BAT, CELO, CHZ, CRO, MANA, REQ) and Currencies (BCH, BTC, DASH, DOGE, FORTH, LTC, SHIB, XLM, XRP)
- Infrastructure – Data Management and storage (BAND, ENS, FIL, GRT, JASMY, LINK, MASK, OXT, STORJ, TRB API3, MINA, GAL, BLZ, CVC, XCN) and IoT / Shared Compute (ANKR, FET, NKN, RLC, RNDR, ARPA, POND)
I bought $30 worth of of IoT / Shared Compute, and my plan to increase that amount to $100.
After that, I’ll buy $100 worth of each collection.
That’ll be a $1,000 investment.
A year, two, or three, or ten from now, I’m totally prepared to see that investment go down to $10. But I’m also prepared to see it go up to $10,000.
I think it’s a great way to get some exposure to different assets without necessarily investing a lot of time and money. Also, statistically, it’s unlikely that they’ll all underperform.
I’m gonna keep you posted.
Probably with weekly or monthly updates.
