There’s a new earn & learn opportunity on Coinbase but it’s not as straightforward as the old ones.

It’s called Vara Network and it gives you the chance to obtain up to $24 by completing 5 tasks.

The first two tasks are pretty simple, the other three aren’t.

First, there’s a simple quiz, that’s an easy $3.

---

Next, you’ll have to download the SubWallet and set it up, send some VARA to your SubWallet and use it to mint an NFT.

This’ll cost a few cents, but it’ll give $5 as a reward.

---

---

And that’s where it gets tricky. And quite frankly, a tiny bit frustrating.

---

You can win an additional $6 ($3+3) by playing games on the Vara Network.

---

There are two issues with that.

First, the games are boring, and clunky. For example the racing game, you have to approve a transaction for every single move, which doesn’t make for the best gaming experience, and it costs a few cents each time.

Second, I tried playing for 5 minutes. Still no reward.

---

So I gave up.

---

The biggest reward will be gifted to you after you stake 150 Vara.

---

I’m not gonna do that either, chiefly because the only way to have 150 Vara to stake is to complete all four tasks, which I won’t.

Still, 5 minutes worth of work and I get $8. Not bad.
