Changpeng ‘CZ’ Zhao changed his X handle and, apparently, his account was temporarily restricted as a result.
CZ even tried to get ahold of Elon Musk.
“The X bot detection algo[rithm] also needs work, [Elon Musk]. It doesn’t detect the bad bots, and wrongly targets the real humans,” CZ tweeted.
For evident reasons, CZ had to change his X handle which previously recited ‘CZ Binance’.
The former CEO of the world’s largest crypto exchange was forced to resign amid legal controversy with the US Department of Justice.
Mind you, to call it a ‘controversy’ is probably an understatement.
However, what’s really having people worried is the new handle.
CZ went from CZ Binance to CZ BNB, and people are wondering why.
CZ will no doubt own a large amount of BNB. His net worth is currently estimated at $18 billion and a lot of that is probably BNB.
However, BNB is connected to the Binance exchange so, apart from his own personal stack, he should sever all connections to BNB as well as Binance.
So what’s with the handle?
I have a feeling we’ll find out soon enough.
