Netflix director blows movie budget on bad investments, and still came out on top because of crypto

Netflix still sued him, so let’s see what happens next.

Netflix director Carl Rinsch blew (almost) his entire movie budget on questionable investments.

But one of these investments paid off big time and it had to do with crypto.

After directing 47 Ronin starring Keanu Revees, Rinsch was hired by Netflix to direct a 12-episode TV show titled ‘Conquest’.

Netflix reportedly gave him $11 million for the show and Rinsch apparently used nearly all of it to make investments.

Now, to be honest, this sounds illegal but even Netflix were to sue him, which they actually did, he should at least be able to pay them back.

One of these investments was Dogecoin.

Rinsch apparently bought $4 million worth of DOGE when the market was down and his investment was eventually worth $27 million.

The case is still in arbitration. So stay tuned.
