What can you actually do with WEB3 domains?

What are they for?

What can you actually do with WEB3 domains?

It’s a genuine question, and one I’ve been asking myself since buying into this stuff.

At the time of writing, and I had to check, I own 11 crypto domains, spread across two platforms, FreeName and Unstoppable Domains.

I also pay, yearly, a bulk fee that’s all things considered pretty low to maintain three web2 domains for three websites I run.

Fortunately, the blog on which I tend to crosspost articles I also write here, called Bitcoinea, is free.

Sorry, I digress.

All in all, using various signup bonuses and vouchers and stuff, these domains didn’t really cost much, but I’m still left wondering what the heck am I going to do with them.

It is quite tricky to build a website on top of these domains for now, chiefly because very few browsers provide full integration to WEB3 domains.

So even if I managed to build a website, people wouldn’t really be able to visit it.

So the question remains, what exactly am I going to do?

Do you own any WEB3 domains?

Are you interested at all in them? If you are, and you don’t own one yet, may I please shamelessly plug my referral code for both FreeName and Unstoppable Domains. You get like $10 off or something.

I wouldn’t do this ordinarily, but I’m just trying to make owning these stupid domains make sense.

Sorry about that.
